About Us

This Website is designed as the Merokee Enterprises home page so that you may become more familiar with Merokee's offerings, our goals, our dedication to serving others, where we came from and where we are attempting to go.

It is the Mission of Merokee Enterprises to Help Restore Some Needed Integrity Back to the Internet and Deliver the Best Services and Products to Our Customers by Addressing Their Needs.

We also are involved in the Fight Against Crime via developing helpful and proven content on the subject and offering to the public many important self-defense and surveillance products using the latest technology.

Merokee Enterprises was first envisioned in the mid 1970's as a mail order and direct selling business. The early years were rocky to say the least. We had some minor success then life intervened. Due to health issues that both my wife and I faced we had to direct our energies fulltime in looking after our medical needs and the needs of a family with two small children.

It wasn't until the late early 1990's that the vision was renewed with the advent of the World Wide Web. Most of our efforts were directed to non-profit type Web sites offering help and information for the sufferers of what is now commonly known as fibromyalgia and information Websites to help those seeking opportunities on the Internet to recognize the true opportunities apart from the ever growing numbers of Internet opportunity scams and schemes.

As mentioned previously we also market self-defense and surveillance technology to help fill the large demand for new advanced personal defense devices.  Our aim is helping everyone to have access to improved personal safety and security against the backdrop of growing violent crime in today's society.

Did you know? A part of our business plan is to pledge the first 10% of our profits to support the fight against cancer through research and care by donating this money to help support the work of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York City.

Fulfilling Our Basic Need of Self Protection

 by Bill Wallmuller

Self preservation of we and our loved ones is one of man's basic needs. It is inherent in every single one of us. Mankind craves security.

I don't know why it is but every time my wife and I go to see her cousin in San Diego I get to thinking about self-defense. You see, my wife's cousin just turned 60 but he is still active in karate and has been able to stay in condition. I think it’s great that he can do this, and I'm sure his knowledge of the martial arts would be of great help to him if he or his family were ever attacked and had to defend themselves.

I sit and ponder what the result would be for me or my family who have had no formal martial art backgrounds and are possibly handicapped due to our physical disabilities. How do we prevent ourselves from becoming victims? What would you do in my place?

I have investigated crime reports and their recommendations. Pretty much across the board they recommend using some common sense and avoidance of situations and scenarios that give the edge to the criminal.

For example: Street Safety. Using common sense.

1. Stay in well lighted, busy areas. Avoid walking alone and avoid known trouble spots.

2. When you carry a purse, hold it close to your body rather than by the handles. Do not wrap purse straps around your wrist, because you can get hurt in a struggle.

3. Carry only what you need in a purse or wallet, not everything you have.

4. Avoid using shortcuts through dark alleys, fields, or vacant lots.

5. If you think you're being followed, cross the street and change directions a few times. Go quickly to a well-lighted place with lots of people. Do not go home. You don't want an attacker to know where you live.

There may come times that we have taken all the recommended precautions and still find ourselves in a position to be victimized by criminals. Is there anything else we can do? You bet!

Today we have the benefit of technology such as self-defense devices and surveillance equipment in the forms of personal alarms, pepper spray, nanny cams, etc. When we decide to use this technology we must use it wisely and become familiarized with its operation. Having knowledge about how these devices are properly used is very important.

Society's institutions no longer have the capability to protect you and your family as they once had. For the last twenty years or so the nation's crime rate has greatly increased.

Obviously our nation and society have become a dangerous place in which to live and raise our children. The laws and institutions designed to protect us are failing to do so. There is little left for us to do but arm ourselves with effective defense devices and/or learn the ancient ways of self protection long forgotten by our ancestors.

Our Comittment to Making a Difference

Merokee Enterprises strives to make a difference on the Internet through our integrity campaign, but also would like to make a difference in peoples lives, especially those with needs.

Nancy and I have made the decision to contribute 10 % of any profit we make from our Internet Ventures to a charity or research organization of our choice.

Some may be familiar with my wife Nancy's history. She is a three [3] time cancer survivor having survived to this day colon, pancreatic and lung cancer, We are extremely grateful to the Memorial Sloane-Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York City and it's medical professionals for accomplishing this miracle with God's help.

Therefore it should not be any surprise that we have decided to make the research and care done by Memorial Sloane-Kettering and its associates the beneficiary of our donation from 10% of our profits.
